Ed Bartram

We are very sad to convey to the membership that Ed (Ted) Bartram died on August 25th in MacKenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill.  He collapsed at his island with urosepsis two weeks ago and it appeared he had rallied through that crisis.  However, his underlying heart and lung issues were not able to withstand the trauma of this health emergency.  Please know that we were comforted by the many cottagers who reached out to him during this difficult struggle.  He has left an abundance of beautiful things behind…from paintings and prints of his beloved Georgian Bay to an extraordinary island garden.

We grieve the loss of this gentle and generous husband, father and friend to many,
