May 2023 Newsletter

Hello everyone, and happy spring, soon-to-be summer! We are excited to share an update on numerous activities for the upcoming season.

Courts and Etiquette

The nets were put up last week, so let’s get playing! A big thank you to John Weir and Norm Playfair for this.

We would like to remind all SSTC members that in accordance with property management and our insurance provider that, without a permit, the consumption of alcohol and/or any controlled substances on the property is strictly prohibited.

Also, dogs must remain on a leash at all times when visiting the courts. Please remember to pick up after your pet.

Booking Doubles for 2 hours: In addition to your own family membership name, you will be required to add a second family membership name as your opponent.

Also, please follow the existing SSTC etiquette when booking morning doubles: Reserve 8:30 am to 10:30 am or 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Booking Singles for 1 hour: Select 1 hour, as the default is 2 hours. Only your family member’s name is required, i.e. no opponent is entered.

Booking of one court per family membership per day is allowed. You may book a second court on the day of play if courts are available. Booking opens 7 days in advance at 8:00 am.
