End of year socials and AGM location change

Ladies’ End-of-Year Social on September 1

As mentioned, Val Hay has generously offered to host the end-of-season ladies’ social at her cottage on McGaw Island on Friday, Sept.1. All food will be provided so please bring yourself and your beverage of choice (BYOB).

As dock space is always a challenge with large numbers, please RSVP to Val at valrhay@gmail.com or text at (416) 728-1975 so that we may get a sense of the number of attendees and arrange boatpools from the SSCA docks at 4:30 p.m.

Men’s End-of-Year Social on September 1

We don’t yet have all the details, but plans are in the making! The date will be Friday, September 1st. Stay tuned!

2023 AGM: Minor Change in Location

Due to seating constraints at the pavilion, the AGM will be held at the picnic tables by the SSCA docks on Saturday, August 26th at 2 p.m.

Summer Tournament Finals Schedule

The tournament finals are finally here and scheduled.

  • The Ladies’ Singles and Men’s Doubles will be played tomorrow, Saturday, August 26th at 10:30 a.m.
  • The Mixed Doubles finals will also be tomorrow starting at 11:00 a.m.
  • The Men’s Singles finals are being held on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Weather forecast permitting, additional courts held for the finals on Sunday will be released tomorrow morning.
