What a great final book club meeting of the summer! About 20 folks participated in the discussion led by Sharon Earle- Meadows, of the book, Surrender. Not only was the author’s sister, Kate Pocock, present with Sharon to provide some insight into the author’s background, but the author, Joanna Pocock ( what a delightful woman!), was able to join our Zoom meeting from London, England. Many thanks to Sharon for suggesting this book, for leading the discussion and for being able to get both Kate and Joanna to participate in our meeting. Also, thanks again to Cathie for hosting all this summer’s meetings via Zoom.
